High up on a hellish descent down Swartberg Pass, the famous mountain road connecting Calitzdorp to Prince Albert in the semi-arid, succulent-rich desert of the Klein Karoo. The molten curvature of the landscape (echoed by the hairpin bend) is almost psychedelic, creating a sense that the enormous mountains surrounding you on all sides aren't quite formed yet, but still in a process of becoming over millions of years.
